Donna S. Murrell’s passion for fashion and modeling began at the age of seventeen. A professional runway model and instructor for 20+ years while operating her own Modeling Agency. As a loving wife (Eugene), mother of 3 adult children (Montez, Armani, Diamen), and G-ma of 2 (Phoenix and MJ), plus plans to retire in June 2023 from 33 years as an employee with the City of Charlotte, she never gave up on her passion. Family and her faith are most important in her life.
In her continued love for fashion and working with others, she began judging for a host of pageant platforms. Not seeing what she thought should be gracing the stage, she decided to create her own all-natural pageant organization – Carolina Girls Rock Pageant and Carolina Women Rock Pageant located in Charlotte. Her pageants focus on self-love, building confidence, empowering, and encouraging girls and women to achieve their dreams and goals by providing workshops prior to competition. When not judging or producing pageants, Donna provides personal coaching; Donna Murrell Coaching focuses on being a mentor to females beginning at the age of 5. Currently her record speaks for itself with more than 100+ awards and titles for her clients within 2 years.
She loves volunteering and working with non-profit organizations by providing workshops on self-achievement, pursuing your dreams, and sharing the importance of reading more to expand their horizon. She is excited to add the title of Best-Selling Author to her name. Her anthology book titled “Image in the Mirror II – Purpose, Promise, and Pageants”, shares how she thought her dreams were over, but how she kept pressing forward, knowing who God is and the importance of having faith. After a humbling reality, she knew there was a continued greater purpose for her. So, she combined her purpose with her passion to be the difference in the lives of girls and women.
